Many are also the subject of fascinating Indigenous Dreamtime stories, and the site of beautiful Indigenous rock art.

The "wave" area of the huge, granite rock is approximately 14 metres high and 110 metres long.

 Specifically, it is an inselberg made up of medium and coarse-grained porphyritic granite. 

Such a unique site as Wave Rock makes for a perfect visit on during a weekender in Western Australia.
